Nordica Logistics S.L. (“Nordica”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website and the customer tracking platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data we collect
Identification data (full name, company, email, phone) you provide through quote requests or account creation; shipment metadata (tracking codes, origin and destination, cargo type, timestamps); and technical data (IP address, browser, anonymised analytics) needed to secure and operate the service.
2. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to deliver our logistics services and tracking dashboard (contract performance), to comply with customs, tax and transport regulations (legal obligation), to secure our infrastructure (legitimate interest) and to send service notifications. Marketing emails are only sent with your explicit consent.
3. Recipients
Your data is shared only with parties strictly required to fulfil the shipment: carriers, customs brokers, port authorities, and our IT subprocessors (Supabase EU, Cloudflare). We never sell personal data.
4. International transfers
Data is hosted in the European Union. When a shipment requires transferring data to a partner outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Shipment records are retained for 10 years to meet Spanish commercial and customs obligations. Marketing data is deleted within 3 years of your last interaction. Account data is deleted on request.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Contact us at privacy@nordica-logistics.com.
